I like the Umbalite, the cut is super pretty.
 
Thanks StephanieLynn, i thought so too, and i've heard good things about Jeff Davies, my budget right now is more on the tiny side, but i really want a reddish pink right hand ring so i might just try his and see. :)
 
I'm in the same boat with budget so I can relate there! Have you considered a spinel? There are some pretty pink/purples out there. I've been combing through the vendors list regularly to find a stone, if you haven't yet you might want to give it a look.
 
I have, I'll keep looking around as well. You're looking for a pink sapphire right?
 
I was, but I just bought one today from Multicolour!! I am so excited because it is the color and cut I wanted and it was not easy finding a Portuguese cut sapphire in this color.

Oh, Kosnar Gem Co. On Etsy has some pretty pink/purple spinels, not sure if you have a certain shape or size in mind, I also was looking at Pristine Gemstones, lots of pretty things to look at there as well.
 
I really think an asscher, cushion or octagon. I'll check those out. :D
 
Also, we just had to reorder a new wedding ring for myself, mine was lost. :(, but the setting we picked was Gabriel and Co, and i really am happy with the quality for the price point. Its so comfortable and smooth and looks fabulous. The jeweler should be done setting the stone we finally agreed on by monday so i'll post some pictures then.
 
I like the Jeff Davies one best. The cut on that one is so pretty and the color looks nice. :love:
