What are your thoughts on this stone? It's over $4500 (is it worth that price tag?) so would love help to find something comparable for less. Would like to stick to H&A if possible. Higher clarity a bonus but not necessary if eye clean. D or E color. Around 3ct and prefer HPHT.

@Kim N would love your help if you have some time to spare :)

Buying from whiteflash (or distinctive gems, or Brian gavin, or others who have stones in house and do advanced images) comes with advantages but also costs $. For some people, tje peace of mind about knowing 100% that they're getting an ideal cut stone is worth it. For others, it's not.

I think if you want to save $ but still have an extremely high quality cut then look for gcal 8x certified stones (adiamor, ritani, etc, will have them). I'll look now to see what's around.

I don't consider it blue nuance bc especially in your first photo, the blue looks to be reflecting off a facet, implying environmental blue. There also seems to be some environmental blue at play in the en face views.

Blue nuance is bc of the boron in the body of the stone and is a summation tinge.

However, I defer always to the experts, and @Karl_K and @Kim N are great at blue nuance. Maybe they'll take a look.
