Thoughts on this RB for tacori setting

Well I ordered the tacori setting today in white gold. I wanted to see what comments some of you had on this diamond. Hearts and arrows ideal cut, 2.5 carats, and within my budget of $23k and eye clean.

I love that setting. Can you send me a link to it? Also, do you know the band width? I debated about buying this for my lady I think, but passed. Don't know why I did now!

One more diamond, I would like comments on. It scored excellent in HCA tool and is eye clean. Has large diameter of 8.84 with 60% table and depth - 2.50cts round brilliant cut diamond GIA certified, I color SI2 clarity with Triple Excellence - $20,707

No, I like the one you already picked better!!! I like tables under 60 and certainly H color is going to appear whiter than I. In fact, I'd go down in size before I'd go down in color in a stone this large. But that is my personal preference since I can see the tint in many I color stones. They do vary, though.

Beautiful setting choice...I'd go with platinum, though!

I ordered today with white gold, so hopefully that was not a mistake! I liked the brightness of the white gold, although realize it will need more maintenance, which is ok. Any specific reason you said platinum with this particular setting?
