Not enough information on the cut. Will need at least an ASET image for a princess cut. Which lab graded the stone?

I''ve requested both an ASET and an ideal-scope from the retailer. I''ve noticed that most retailers do not publish this info. I realize that most of their diamonds are not kept in house, but is this a common difficulty with purchasing diamonds online. I''ve been using primarily whiteflash and bluenile, and very few of their diamonds have any info other than color, clarity, and a rough estimate of the cut (I''m learning that estimating a princess cut''s brilliance can be difficult from numbers alone).

If this stone is from Blue Nile, you unfortunately won''t be able to get an ASET. You would from Whiteflash, but if it''s not an in-house stone, you may have to pay a small fee for them to call it in first.

Additionally, these vendors can provide images, though they may limit the number. Not all information may be posted, but they will send it upon request.
