Thoughts on this pink tourmaline

Don't know much about tourmaline but thought this one has beautiful colour and cut. Was thinking to have it set in rose gold pendant.

I love a fun interesting cut. I love a nice soft pink.

My only concern is that it is a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Dr. Jekyll in diffused light looking all sweet and peachy. Mr. Hyde in the sun... at least that's my take on tourms of this color.

I'd ask for unflattering pictures... when the stone looks the worst.

If you like bronze-y pink (I do) you will probably love it.

its a gene cut stone and inexpensive. what's to think about? if you don't like it, either resell it or give it to someone as a gift.
if it were a true pink it would certainly sell for lots more.
