Thoughts on this lab grown EC?

I've been searching for ECs for months. This is hard! Is it worth getting an expert to help? Anyone that's reasonably priced you could recommend?

What I've learned the hard way is that the specs on ECs don't always mean a great stone. I've seen right through some of them and others have gone completely dark in the middle...even with favorable proportions. With all that said - I appreciate better trained eyes than mine to take a look. Huge thank you for sharing your expertise!

Step cuts are tricky indeed and if you feel really stuck then it wouldn't hurt to go via a vendor who offers a concierge service. I suggest getting a feel for prices first, and find a bunch of stones that appeal to you, then see if the vendor can help you out with an opinion.

Your EC looks quite nice. I like the ratio and the steps seem pretty clear, even at low magnification.
