Thoughts on this Lab Cushion? (Video Link Included)

Hi all!

After looking at several stones, I bought a lab-grown elongated cushion, and would love some advice on whether I’ve made a good choice. The jeweller ordered it and it should be in soon. Link to video is below!

Ring Specs:

• Carat: 2.07
• Color: E
• Cut: ‘Ideal’ (AGS)
• Clarity: VS1
• Polish: Excellent
• Symmetry: Excellent
• Measurements: 8.43 x 7.13 x 4.69
• Ratio: 1.18

The ring itself will be a solitaire set in platinum with a hidden halo akin to ‘Radha’ from Nature Sparkle’s website (https://naturesparkle.com/select-setting/?product_id=57978&variation_id=58041). However I’ve heard the ring is more durable/easier to resize if it doesn’t have an open gallery so my jeweller is going to make it with closed bottom gallery!

They are also adding his and hers birthstones in a peek-a-boo fashion (Sapphire and Alexandrite).

Altogether, he’s quoted me at 7500 CAD (5597 USD) to make the ring from scratch including this diamond. How did we do on price and quality?
