I was able to find what I think is a pretty well cut 1.22 carat G, VVS2 round with the following cut parameters...

Depth - 62%
Table - 55%
Crown angle - 34.5%
Crown height - 15.5%
Pavilion angle - 40.8%
Pavilion depth - 43%
Star length - 55%
Lower half - 75%
Girdle - Medium, faceted 3.5%
Cutlet - none

GIA report and HCA attached...asking $8,470...the only drawback is that I don't have pictures of the actual diamond or any ASET scope

I always encourage seeing real pics of a stone before buying bc buying blind is hard. Are you buying from a drop shipper?

Ps. The proportions look solid. But know you are likely paying more $$ for the vvs clarity compared to vs and you won't see the difference with the naked eye

I agree...yes it's a drop shipper

The reports only give you average values, and they are rounded. It does not show how symmetric the diamond is. I personally like to use pictures/videos to pick the good-looking symmetric ones, and then check the report values.
Is it possible to ask for images/video?

Great stats!

Positive: promising spec., good size slightly larger than 1ct., great clarity

concerns: GIA rounding, vendor not actually owning the stone, lack of scope image (at the moment)

doesn’t hurt to ask for images, photos / video. Not sure which vendor you are talking to, but some often have pictures or videos at least for their own “ideal” line.
And is there only me thinking the price sounds better than it should be for such spec..?
