I am interested in getting your thoughts on this diamond. Particurally, I''d like to know what caused it to fall out of GIA Excellent cut grade. Also, if you think $16,900 is a good deal on it.

The Thick in the girdle variation cause it to get the VG cut grade. A thicker girdle will result in a smaller diameter for the stone.

Thanks for providing the comp and thoughts on the price.

I thought it was the girdle that had knocked it out of Excellent.

Any other opinions/thoughts??

I don't know the exact difference between "clouds not shown" and "additional clouds not shown" - or even if there is a difference, but the PS recommends you beware of this statement.
