Thoughts on this diamond and price

Hello,

Trying to find the love of my life a good diamond, and I will be the first to say I'm no expert on this process. Would anyone be able to give me any insight about this rock I got a price quoted for?

We need more stats than this. Are you able to post the GIA report and block out the number so nobody can poach your diamond?

Is there some reason you want a D color? It's a huge premium - yet you're settling for VG on symmetry and polish. Your VS1 clarity is good, but D is, in my opinion, overkill (unless there's some specific reason you want a D color?), and a lot more of your budget needs to go into getting a better cut stone. it's the cut that will determine how much your diamond sparkles and how much light return you get, so move 'ideal cut specs' to the top of your list.
