There are several different types of cuts for cushions, but the one you linked is a particular favorite of mine - there will be a lot of large, colorful flashes.

Any of the August Vintage branded diamonds will have excellent light performance.

I’m not sure. This ring is to be an upgrade from when my husband were married 7 years ago. My current setting is a Ritani halo with an OMC. I still like halos but are those out of fashion now? Any suggestions for this kind of stone?
