Thoughts on this 2ct antique cushion?!

After drooling for a little more than a year (and visiting both ERD and GOG last summer), I think my boyfriend and I are ready to commit to an antique cushion that I found with ERD. We're about to pull the trigger, but I just wanted to see if anyone else saw any reason for hesitation with this stone. We haven't seen it in person, but Mark says that it is a solid I and could even pass for an H. He's holding it for me while we arrange the wire transfer, but I think it looks like a pretty good diamond for the price (and he seemed to indicate that it could go up in price again in the next two weeks if I wait to make a purchase after I return from vacation, which also concerns me.) I look forward to your critique and opinions!

I've tried on the Memoire Purity set on several occasions and have fallen in love with it every time I see a single prong style setting on my hand. But I also LOVE the idea of a halo, so I am considering the Verragio-7033 since it is available for square stones.


But I am a little concerned that it might be too much on a larger stone. I wear a size 6.5/6.75 so maybe it will be ok?? If not, I'd probably like the simplicity and elegance of a Ritani or Memoire solitaire.

I love memoire and Ritani and I either one would be lovely. The Sophie by JBEG would be incredible with your stone though. I like the second JBEG setting but the halo looks roundish to me and personally I'd like to see a halo follow the lines of the cushion shaped diamond. You've got wonderful choices though!! Any of them will be stunning!
