Thoughts on this 2 carat stone?

I have been lurking for quite some time and thank you all for your informative comments and info.

We are in the market to upgrade my ring after 13 years of marriage. We've been to Tiffany's, Jared, and have been working with a private jeweler. I've shopped online for countless hours and studied until my head hurts.

The private jeweler has a stone we are pretty interested in.

It is GIA certified:

2.03 C
Cut: ex
Polish: ex
Symmetry: ex
Color: G
Clarity: VS2
HCA: 2.5

I'm a bit concerned about the HCA. The price is $30k and from what I can tell this is a fair price. I've seen the stone and think it is beautiful.

Is there anything to be worried about with this?

need specific statistics.what is the table , depth crown angle ,, pavilion This will tell you why the HCA is 2.5. That said we have seen beautiful stones that are not under 20........
