Thoughts on this 2.05 carat , Brill Round G VS2 , HCA =1.2

Hello

I started a topic a few days ago which you cn see by clicking the following link;

basically i found a 2.11 carat which i thought was a really great stone and the good folks on here agreed.
well someone else is considering the stone as well and they were a couple of days before me in contacting the jeweller so I have to wait a couple of days to see if they take it or not.
in the meantime the jeweller has one other stone which potentially could be a better choice for me anyway as its $1600 less (this one is a 2.05 carat , the other was 2.11 carat , all other factors between the 2 stones are identicaal incl;uding the HCA Cut Advisor = 1.2 )

SO WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK OF THIS STONE?
AND ALSO COMPARED TO MY PREVIOUS ONE WHICH CAN BE FOUND IN THE LINK ABOVE?

Sorry that all my pics look funny but only way ive worked out how to get them to a small enough size is to cut away the bits in the picture that i do not need.

No, just to confirm who is calling the stone ideal. IS and ASET is not that well taken so can''t really say much from it but the numbers look good.

Depends on you. The size of the stone might also be a problem in taking good image as most setup is not geared for that size, so going to take a fwe more tries I think.

The ASET looks good and the numbers are excellent, should be a lovely diamond.

cheers stone cold and lorelei have requested better IS and ASET images.
im in new york in 17 days so need to sort a ring by then so i dont have too much time left.
what are your gut feelings on this diamond ??!!

the numbers are right where they should be and i think that ASET looks pretty good... hard to tell much from the IS though. looks like that cloud smack in the middle of the table was the grade setter, and it looks faintly visible in the loupe pic... if/when you go to see it, make sure that that''s ok with you.

otherwise, a great diamond... and for that combination of C''s, a fantastic price too it seems... good luck!

These aren''t generally an issue in VS clarity grades, more SI if grade making. Just make sure it is eyeclean to your standards and you should be fine.

i agree with SC & lorelei... no it isn''t likely at VS grades. it actually comes out a little better in the ASET but irl the diamond (and the inclusion) will be what, 15x smaller? i just thought it is something you should be aware of since it is sitting in the middle of the table... though it''ll probably require a good hard look with really good eyes to spot.

i still think it''s a great diamond... and fwiw, if I had $20k to spend on a diamond, i''d buy it

yeah the aset is better i think but IS is the same. dunno what to do as im running out of time as I need the ring ready for the 31st december - 3rd january as ill be in new york then . i think i will go ahead and take it to be honest as overall it should be a good diamond for the money.

re: the cloud... you definitely won''t see it. yes, it is a great looking diamond... get it and love it (and come back with pics!)

Well Stone is ordered. Yekutiel @ ID Jewelry has been great . Answering all my emails.

I spoke on the phone with him. Great stone with an inclusion that can just be seen at 10 or 20 x zoom with loupe , certainly nothing to the naked eye which is to be expected with a VS2.

In the end he knocked further money off even the special Pricescope price and I have gone for the Caroline setting attached. I will probably buy the wedding band in the picture as well but will leave that for another day as Yekutiel is now off to set the ring in time for me being in New York from Dec 31st to Jan 3rd.
