OK, I have to admit that I NEVER EVER thought I would consider a stone under an I -- but low and behold these two end up on GOG and they look sparkly and incredible. Planning to set ina halo bezel with sapphires or a 3 stone ring with sapphires. Can someone be objective and tell me what they think????

Thoughts? I have to say I''m not that color sensitive -- I have a terrific blue sapphire ring and a yellow sapphire ring that I love sooo much and frankly was/am considering a colored centered stone for my upcoming e-ring. I have a large finger as you may have been able to tell (a whopping 8.75) and really need the spread.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks sl

you listed the same cut info twice....

ok my 2c
the 1.74 0 is the much better cut stone, bigger too but 2k more.

the only area the 1.58 wins is cost.

Id take the O color over an L so it wins there too.

I agree with Storm, the O colour is the better cut, it all depends on whether you realize this diamond will be tinted and that is what you want. If so, then it could be a very unique choice and lovely in the setting you propose.

the first one is dreadful- has a huge table, the ring of death, and shallow crown.

the second one, just by looking at it, is much better cut. nice tight circle in the bottom, sharp arrows, small table.

The O is preferable. It WILL be tinted - know this. I feel that once I'm getting into the tinted range though, I like to definitively 'go there' and get one that is visibly tinted.
