Thoughts on NEW Steven Kirsch design?

My boyfriend and I have emailed for a quote on this ring and I am wondering what anybodys thoughts are! I love that it appears it will sit flush with a wedding band ( I hope!) and I absolutely love that it doesn't have very much metal. I just wish there were hand shots of the ring on his site so I could see what it would look like.
From the picture, the ring doesn't look over the top amazing but the video shows its true beauty.
I think it might look a bit like the Tiffany Soleste, but almost prettier? I love the basket detail as well.
We are looking for about a 2-2.5 center stone on size 5 finger.
Any thoughts are appreciated

Lovely design - i like the split shank and the double halo - what does the undermount look like? Have you seen it or have a photo? That set with a 2 - 2.5 ct on your finger - WOW - full finger coverage or close to it!!

I saw it when he posted it on his Facebook page and the video shows the undermounting etc. the video makes it look so much more beautiful than the picture! I live in Toronto so I won't have a way of seeing it until it done. My boyfriend is (hopefully, fingers and toes crossed!) starting the process this month so I can't wait!

Its a very pretty ring. As its a split shank you would need to have a shaped wedding band to sit flush against it otherwise you would have gaping under the finger or the ring would sit angled.

Wow that is one gorgeous ring! And I am normally not even a fan of halos and pave! The gallery is just beyond beautiful! It will sit flush bc of the way he designed the gallery, so I wouldn't worry about that!

I haven't been on this site for a while, but I had to respond to this post because I just had my oval diamond reset by Steven in a split-shank design similar to this one. The diamond band I also had made sits flush against my split shank ring. If you want a spilt shank and want a flush wedding band, I would definitely recommend Steven.
