i just posted some pics of a 2.20 ctw 3-stone EC that could possibly be my future engagement ring here in LIW.

after comparing it to other pics of 3-stone EC rings, i feel like the side stones are a little too large to accent the center stone. almost as if it''s too horizontally straight if that makes sense. i personally LOVED it IRL, and i wouldn''t want to change the side stones since they match the center stone''s color and clarity, but does it look weird? the center is 1 ct and the side stones are .60 ct each. all 3 stones are D IF.

IF you love it thats all that matters but if you do want to change the side stones maybe to about .40 would make the center stone pop more.

I don''t think that your ring looks weird at all. I see what you mean though that they''re fairly close in size, but I think the ring is gorgeous! I always like to think that you should follow your instinct when it comes to your ring. If you think that you''ll still love it just the way it is 5, 10, 15 years from now then there''s no need to change the side stones. If you think that it''s something that might bother you in a few years, you could go and have the side stones made into matching earrings and replace them with .40 ECs instead.

Normally I would probably say that I like smaller side stones on a 3-stone ring, but after looking at your pictures I think it looks awesome! Very substantial looking on your hand in a very subtle/classic way. The ring is sooooo icy white - love it!

Have you tried on other size combinations of sidestones? I like the three stone look, but me personally like them to accent to center but its what you like that matters. It is a very beautiful ring, and I like the tapered shoulder look towards the diamonds. Just beautiful

It''s pretty
