Thoughts on diamond for engagement ring...

I am complete newbie but being doing some research and came across this: https://www.pricescope.com/diamonds/round/1_01-carat-e-color-vs1-clarity-17868447.

It seems quite good for the price, what are your thoughts? My budget is around this point for the diamond but could potentially stretch it by $500.

I did buy it in the end. The HCA tool, the ideal scope image and the advise on this website really helped so thank you very much!

I also asked for a hearts image but unfortunately they wouldn't provide it as it wasn't part of the True Hearts collection.

Hi and welcome to PriceScope, Chrismlufc.
You won't need to worry about the hearts image...that's something you can do once you get it (unless you are also getting a setting to make it a ring prior to its arrival). Some Hearts and Arrows scopes are rather inexpensive and can be bought from Amazon, for example.
The diamond that you picked appears to be a good performer...kudos!
