Thoughts on a diamond for engagement ring

ASET shows light leakage. I would keep looking.

Thanks a lot
I am based in London, so was thinking about buying on blue nile (i found the same diamond on enchanted diamonds which provides aset,..)

Can you make any recommendation for a diamond on blue nile uk?
My budget can vary, happy to spend up to 8k gbp on the diamond

What do you think about that one?

That one has good angles and proportions, and gets a nice HCA score. I’m having a bit of a mathematical paralysis figuring out if it’s a reasonable price with the VAT as compared to other stones. It seems quite low based on my (possibly flawed) calculations, which isn’t always a good thing: you get what you pay for. Any other Brits able to help here?

I believe Blue Nile has a good return policy, so if they can’t provide an ASET image for you, you can always buy an ASET for yourself and vett it in person.

BlueNile will not provide ASET or IS for most rounds, so we tend to use other vendors. Maybe a UK member can chime in to help with the cost/conversation.

Yeah, i'm trying to get a ring within the next 15 days, so was thinking would be easier using blue nile uk, but the lack of ASET makes the process a bit complicated
Will ask few US based websites and might just buy from the US

Thanks again!

Since you are on a tight timeline, I'd just say stick with the BN UK so you don't have to deal with time pressure or the taxes.

I like the BN stone (1.11 H VS1) you linked better than the first one. It has safe measurements within the zone we normally recommend.

Agree with this. It looks decent, and I would say would be safe to purchase even without the ASET and IS.

Hi, thank you guys for your help to my now fiancé I love the ring, it’s perfect, very sparkly (just need to resize slightly) impressed with how much time and dedication it took to find it

The soon to be wife,
