No?

The HCA gives it a 3.4 which is not great...

The pavilion angle is a little too steep for me paired with the depth and the crown angle and the small table. It may have a bit more fire but it's not going to be a really great superideal cut. But not sure what you are looking for....

In terms of the price, it could be a little steep...maybe a retail markup? But that is a hard carat weight to hit and find...there was a 1.65 E VS2 AGS0 on the PS search that was $16k. So $20k seems like alot more for one jump up in clarity and a tiny bit more carat weight?

I'd keep looking....

there''s nothing about that stone that would make me want to spend 20k on it. you can do better.

i don''t think this is an AGS 0 cut anymore base on today''s new AGS 0 cut specs.

This stone was graded on Sept. 22 2005 and did recieve a triple 0. How can the stone recieve this if according to everyone here the angles are off. What angles should I be looking for?

did you see the grading report lukasp?

Triple Zero technically means D (Color 0); FL (Clarity 0); Ideal Cut (0).

Your stone probably got an AGS0 rating which is polish, symmetry and proportions are 0 meaning it''s an ideal cut. But unless it''s D FL (or maybe it''s IF)...it won''t be a Triple Zero.

That said, the numbers still sound a bit off and they are not that great.

Could you have typed something in wrong??

actually mara, the old old triple zero was cut, clarity, color
the old triple zero (perhaps what lukasp has now) was polish, symmetry, proportions
the new triple zero is light performance, proportion factors, finish (which includes polish & symmetry)

so what would be a D FL and cut ideal AGS stone?

000000?
