It gets an HCA score of .5 although it is only graded Very Good Cut by GIA. This is very confusing to me, as there are many GIA graded Excellent cuts which score poor on the HCA. It seems to have a big spread for the size, although it is a very thin to thin girdle which concerns me.

Stone specs:
F color
56% table
59.8% depth
33 degrees crown angle
41 degrees pavilion angle
strong fluorescence

Your thoughts?

Yep, very thin girdle knocks it out of consideration for me unless you are planning to put it in a bezel setting. This stone definitely could be prone to chipping.

How about in a halo setting? Or if the very thin spot is just in one small spot in the girdle?

I suppose if you want to go to the expense to send it to an independent appraiser you could find out about how much of the girdle is very thin. And you certainly can set it in a bezel halo.

$25,930 2.51 H SI2 with twinning wisps (these inclusions are the only time i'd consider an SI2 stone...check out this thread here for explanation plus pictorial evidence https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/newbie-engagement-ring-help.168987/)

I am color sensitive, and prefer at least a G color. Also, the stone seems to have other inclusions besides twinning wisps as well.
