I was wondering how stable they are? I have been on the hunt for a 1.5 mm palladium band and cannot find one. I emailed an online vendor of wedding bands that carries a 2mm and I asked them if they could custom make a 1.5 for me. They said they could but they would not warranty the custom band because anything lower than 2 mm is not all that stable and there are no guarantees that it would hold it''s shape. Any advice? I really want the smaller to use as a spacer.

Have you tried on a 2mm in real life? I ask because I''ve just gotten a 2mm platinum wedding band and it is TINY. Like, barely there - much smaller than I was expecting. I am actually pretty concerned about it holding its shape, although I have been assured it should be ok. I definitely wouldn''t go lower.

Obviously this is a moot point if you''ve already tried it on, but if not, definitely do that first.

I agree with LilyKat, I''ve got a 2mm platnium band and its tiny ! I got it from e-wedding bands and its been great - they also do palladium now I believe.

Maggie May- That''s who gave me this info. They said I should try the 2mm first and if I don''t like it I can return it and they will custom make the smaller one. Maybe I should go that route first.

Sounds like a good idea - they are fabulous to deal with - I preferred the plantium as it was fairly cheap and not too much price difference but I''ve also got palladium rings too - no complaints either.

Have you asked danforthdiamonds.com ?

Sorry to threadjack, but MaggieMay, how have you found the 2mm platinum band? Have you had any problems with it losing shape etc? Do you wear it alone too?

I have not checked with danforth because there 2mm is priced more than eweddingbands.
