Good morning, gorgeous!

I have to say - I have a 3 stone, as you know. And I love my 3 stone - as you also know. But your 3 stone is just beyond. Can you pls refresh my memory as to its dimensions? I know the center stone is 2.1ct - but can you tell me the ctw of the sides? I see myself doing a second 3 stone at some point with OECs and a colored center and would love to mimic the proportions of yours.

Frankie was here before I came on board in 13 but I loved posts etc, is she still around?

@msw2b what is your budget for the setting and the sidestones?

The closest six prong example I can think of is Frankie’s old ring with a 1.7ct center and 0.23ct side stones, size 5 finger:



I also have a three stone with six prongs on center and while mine is a bit larger at 2.1ct, I think that 6 prongs is nothing to worry about as they will keep the stone secure and protected without overwhelming the diamond.

@mrs-b thank you and yes, you have a stunning, stunning three stone! The side stones are 0.23ct each. The center stone is about 8.2mm and the side stones are each 4mm, size 5.5.

@Tekate I don’t know if Frankie is still around, but her three stone ring was my original inspiration.

I’m so sorry I did not catch your reply until just now. Your ring is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! I absolutely adore your ring’s proportions! I find that - to my eye - the size of your side stones are a perfect accent to the center diamond, showing enough presence that you know they are there, but they still allow the center to remain the star. It’s almost like the best of both worlds between a stellar soli & blingy-ier three stone.

You already answered my other questions above re: the diamond dimensions and finger size. Might you have a north/south view picture? I’d really love to see the gallery, as well as the overall height, angle of the side diamonds, etc. Also, would you mind sharing who made it for you?

I’ve decided against a 5-stone; it would really be just too much bling for my lifestyle (I know, I know, no such thing ). But I decided to go 3-stone instead, and my new ACA is also 2.1 ct and 8.2 mm, and I have two .35 ct diamonds that are 4.5mm I plan to use. So your pics are super helpful in visualizing the combo I’ve been thinking about using. Thank you SOOO much for sharing!
