My fiance and I were on a very small budget for our rings, we saved and only wanted to spend 1500 total for both rings...which doesnt give you many options. I looked EVERYWHERE and couldnt find anything in that price range that I liked. I found a guy who was selling his friend''s ring for him because he fell on financial troubles and decided to sell his deseased wife''s ring. The guy had his mother''s diamond solitaire put into a custom made mouting. I fell in love as soon as I saw it! It was just so beautiful and unique
We bought it instantly and had it appraised. It is 18kt yellow gold with euro shank, the setting bar setting is in white gold. Center stone is brilliant cut round .72 carats, Color J, Clarity SI1. The side diamonds are round brillian cut grade G, clarity SI1, weighing .40 cts total. I think we got a fabulous deal for 650.00! I am now looking for two white gold bands so that my ring matches my fiance''s two tone band.
