although i am prohunting i do not beleave in killing something just for the sake of it or to be a trophy
i don't think cats or bears or gators/crocs should be hunted because they are carnivores and i would not eat a carnivore

No.
Bobcats are much smaller, and IIRC not a danger to adult humans, only to children.

An ex and I used to co-own a house in a very very remote region where many bobcats lived.
I think in the 6 or so years I saw only one or two.
One I videotaped eating a gopher.
(S)he was meticulously careful to not puncture the gopher's digestive track.

Unfortunately he kept all the videotapes when we broke up.
