Holy crap ladies, we''re getting married this month! Can you believe it?! How''s everyone doing? What do you still have to do?

Cakeny and IluvEmeralds, how are you ladies doing? Whoo hoo, you''re leading the pack with your weddings this weekend

Holy crap is right!!! How''s it April already???

I am soooo excited, a little nervous.

I feel like I have soooo much to do...
Seating chart
Still working on the playlist
Favors (we''re making cookies, so we have to wait on that)
Gifts for the bridal party (I know what we''re getting them, just have to go out and get it)
Baskets for the bathrooms
Print the programs
Gotta drop off the marriage cert to the officiant (he''s an hour away)
Pay all the vendors off... our savings will be rapidly declining in the next 10 days
39.gif

Make some calls in the next few days to those who haven''t RSVP''d (my RSVP by date was yesterday)

Can this list get any longer???

On top of all that, I need to send out thank yous for the bridal shower.

How are you all doing??

POCAHONTAS!!!!!!! I didn't know your wedding is this month. What day? OOOO how exciting.

An early advanced Congratulations to all the April brides!

Lynnie, I feel your pain! I have a very long list of "to-do's" that I walk around with
26.gif
Since we're having a DW, all the details related to the reception, photography, flowers etc. won't be confirmed until the week of the wedding.

The things that we still have to do here are:
- pick up wedding gown (second, and hopefully final fitting is next week)
- pick up mom and sister's (MOH) dresses (final fittings are tonight)
- purchase bridal accessories (purse and hair flower)
- get my "something blue"
- find a time for FI
- purchase gifts for MOH, Best Man, and parents (have no clue what to do for these)
- engrave FI's watch (wedding gift)
- buy bombaniere boxes and tags
- decide on, and purchase hard candy or those wedding almond-thingies
- arrange transportation to and from the church and hotel for us and guests
- get songs for first dance and father-daughter dance
- schedule wedding rehearsal if the priest would get back to us with a date and time

See you're not alone! HA! Don't you feel better, now?

WHAT?!

It isn''t April. No way is it April. I mean, April 2009 sounded SOOOO far away last February when we set our wedding date.

I''m going back into my hole and pretending it is still March.

I can''t believe that I am getting married in 18 days! I am so excited, but yes I do have some last minute things to still do

-write a personal note to each couple that will be placed at their dinner table seat
-finalize seating chart
-finish my escort card hangers (mini clothespin with ribbon looped through to hang from manzania tree)
-write bridal party thank you notes
-approve all our wedding day printing from the desginer and then pick it up
-pay the remaining balances to all of my vendors
-have our final meeting with our pastor
-pray that the sand I ordered online comes next week
-do candy buffet trial & decorate jars with wedding coordinators
-pack for HONEYMOON!!! Wahoo...
-oh and try to relax

I think that might be it for now....

Lynnie - you are getting married the day before me... yippee!!!! You nervous yet or just focused on the tasks at hand? Me I am a little of both, but definitely ready to have a break from work!!! And your list doens''t seem all that long to me :-)

Dreamgirl, hi there PS Soulmate

How're you doing? I missed you! Yep, we're getting married this month on the 23rd, but we leave for the DR on April 18th. I sooo excited, but super anxious too!

Erica, I know, right?! I remember when a year felt like forever and now we've got just three weeks to go. Seriously, where did the time go?! Your wedding's two days after ours; how's the planning going?

Alison, it looks like you've got all or most of the major items taken care of
36.gif
Hang in there, you'll get it done and before you know it you'll be married to your best friend! Did I miss your honeymoon thread? Where are you and FI off to?

Hi Pocahontas - No I didn''t start a thread on our honeymoon.... I came kinda late to this board (only a couple of months ago) so I missed out on posting about a ton of stuff. We are super excited to go to the Riveria Maya outside of Cancun. We are staying at Secrets Maroma for 10 days and let me tell you I am COUNTING downs the days till we get to leave... lol!

I think I am mostly on track with all the wedding stuff. I gave myself a pretty firm deadline of April 1st for 95% of my stuff. I stuck to it mostly, but still have a few things to do. Oh well :-) I just didn''t want to stress like I knew I would if I waited to the very end.

You leave the day before I get married for the DR right? I bet you are super excited
36.gif
Are you having your honeymoon in the DR as well? I have heard it is beautiful there. Add that one to my list :-)

I get nervous when I focus on the tasks at hand...
Favors: We bought these paper mache boxes that we are going to paint green. FI''s buddy is an artist, and works for the mural arts program for the city. So he has a plethora of paint in his basement, and has generously offered to help us. We''re gonna add ribbon and flower detail to match our invites (and since I have the extra stuff to do it) Invites: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-diy-invites-are-done-sent.108800/
It just seems like a huge task to make 110 of them! The boxes should hold 3 good-sized cookies each, so that means reserving a day to bake 300 + cookies. Good thing FI loves to bake!

We are holding off on a H-moon for now, as FI is in school, and it''s really not possible. He''s taking summer classes, too. We''re looking forward to house shopping after the wedding. So those going on a honeymoon, have fun, and stop back with pics!! Hopefully, we''ll be able to go somewhere in early September.

Allison, what does relax mean? haha

I remembered more things I need to do:
Buy a guest book and cake cutter.
Buy a bracelet
mani & pedi
Pray everyday for nice weather (outdoor ceremony)

The big day will be here before we know it!!!!!!!!!

Alison, I haven''t been to that hotel, but FI and I have travelled to the Mayan Riviera. You''ll have a great time; the beaches are amazing, there''s tons to do in the surrounding areas, and it''s a lot less crowded and way more relaxed (in a good way) than Cancun, imho! So excited for you
36.gif

Bee*, thanks! Can''t wait until our official list keeper gets married in that fabulous castle

Okay ladies, I know there are more of us out there sooooo, what''s up? How''s it going?
