Several weeks ago my husband bought me this lovely antique diamond. I asked Daniel M to create this setting for it.
It's finished and will be sent out to me shortly.
This ring is simply stunning - I love everything about it - hopefully OP will post more info soon (and pics once the ring arrives!) - but I just looked at the etsy listing and it said the ring is platinum, size 4.5 and the diamond is 1ct.
Thanks everyone! I don't have exact specs on the stone. It is a little over a carat, eye clean and a lower color M-N-O likely.
The setting is platinum. I'll take more pics when I get it!
Jax, it's beautiful! I was just re-reading the imitation thread this week, and saw the pic of a setting very similar to this that was listed as an antique and it got my wheels spinning again. What a gorgeous setting for that lovely diamond!
Omg, that is absolutely gorgeous! I seriously love everything about your ring--the cut, color, and setting are just perfect! Daniel M did a wonderful job.
I hope you'll post lots of pictures once you get it!
Wow, that is REALLY beautiful! That stone is so lovely and the setting just seems made for it. The warmth in the OEC looks almost on the brownish/champagne scale, rather than yellow, at least on my computer -- does it to you? Gorgeous color!
