My search continues for the right stone. My MAX budget for the stone is $7500.
Min requirements important to me:
1: 1.2 carats+ thats eye clean
2: Ideal cut
3: Color I
4: Clarity VS2 poss SI1
5: Flour None..possibly faint

Here are 2 stones that i chose:

I put the #'s into HCA
Stone #1 scored 0.7 excellent
Stone#2 scored 2.6 very good

I'm thinking stone 1. What does everyone else think? Does someone suggest something different? Thanks

Stone # 1 for me. The specifications are great.

I could see a couple of inclusion from the loop though.

Just check with JA how prominent these are when seen with the naked eyes.

Overall its diamond #1 for me.

IF I HAD to choose between just those two stones, I'd go with 1, simply because I don't like what's going on in the center of #2 (i.e. the "brownish"/gray hue (at 7-9 o clock) I tend to see with stones that aren't cut optimally), and number 1 does better with the HCA (you should ask for an Idealscope image).

However, stone 1 doesn't have the best proportions either, so IF these were the ONLY two, then I'd investigate 1 a little further. None are particularly that awesome. :wavey:

You can see a few inclusions from the loupe, but I don't suppose most could discern them in real life without the magnification. Plus that image is around 30x. =)

You specifically asked for no / poss faint. Is there a reason?

blue fluor, as long as not hazy cancels out yellow in lower color stones in presence of UV rays. Personally I don't prefer fluor in G and higher color, but I would want medium blue + H/I combo.

#2 or other.

Stone#1
Depth: 59.9%
Table: 58.0%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle: Medium to slightly thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 4.17*6.98*6.93
Crown Angle: 33.
Crown %: 13.5
Pavilion Angle: 41.

Stone#2
Depth: 62.3%
Table: 55.0%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Thin to medium
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 6.94*6.96*4.33
Crown Angle: 35.5
Crown %: 16.00
Pavilion Angle: 40.8

Ok so a couple different answers. Ive posted the measurements above for easier ref. I believe stone#1 has better measurements overall. Do anyone suggest any other stones or have additional input?
Thanks again
