I don't know anything about pear cut, so I'll leave that for others to address.

For me, I'd much rather have the slightly larger diamond with the VS1 clarity than a smaller VVS one. VS1 is still pretty high clarity. So I vote for #1 or the one that @KKJohnson posted.
