Hi there!
My new solitaire is here! Well, it' here in the FedEx box...waiting for my husband to return from a business trip so we can open it together...:-)

I'm looking to add a very thin diamond band (stacking band?) and want a good quality one, do you have one that you love?
I want it in 18YG probably...but might consider Platinum. I want 2mm or less, and not necessarily fully around diamonds, 3/4 around is fine, just a pop of sparkly!

Suggestions?

I'm guessing you mean shared prong or channel set, but since you didn't mention, I'd give a plug to one of the bands I have from Whiteflash (photo in my avatar), the Danielle bezel band. It's 2mm and very dainty, looks great with a solitaire and it's available in yellow gold or platinum:

The bonus of the bezels is that they don't tend to interfere with the head of most solitaires because the girdles of the tiny diamonds are totally covered, so no concerns with scratching up your solitaire.

You must be good at distracting yourself because I dont know how I would resist tearing into that fed ex box! :cheeky:

It's "killing" me...but I really do want my husband to share in the excitement of it, so I'm controlling myself! It's not going to make it to Saturday, as I was first planning though, because we had to change our plans for the day due to a memorial service :-(
So...I believe that I will have it on my hand tomorrow! (he gets home very late tonight)

rubybeth, I do like that one a lot, I have noticed your avatar and though it was really pretty!
yes, shared prong (not channel set, as that is what my WB is and I want something very different).

haha! Well, he's on a plane now, and he gets home late tonight...so either we will open it tonight(less likely), or wait until tomorrow after I get home from work...I really want it to be special. It's not every day I get a new engagement ring! :-)

Super sweet, Baroque!

I really love the bands that look like this... It's a Brilliant Earth ring, but many vendors make these I think. BE sells it in 18K white and platinum and maybe also in palladium. I have never purchased anything from them, but I've been eyeing some of their rings for possible stacking choices myself.

This is not the greatest picture, but someone here has this ring and it is incredibly beautiful. Obviously Victor can make it with whatever percentage of diamonds you want. I will see if I can find the pictures on PS that show it a little better.

Found it!

Oh, I like this too! I saw a Tacori one similar at a jewelry store here!

OH! This is super pretty too!!! I want them all!

Omg. The ring is beautiful!!! Will post tomorrow! The re-propose was super sweet. ❤️❤️❤️

I would highly recommend a woman on Etsy named Zina. This fall I got 5 microwave bands from her (a pink diamond in rose gold, a yellow diamond in yellow gold, a black diamond in white gold, and 2 white diamond bands in white gold) and they are awesome! So much more reasonable in pricing than Leon and some of the other big vendors on here....but her quality is spectacular! There have been a few posts about her on PS so search the forums to see what other people have said, but I love my bands from her!

She can do eternity, 3/4, 1/2 way bands, etc....

Here is her etsy shop

1.4mm too thin.

Did you find a Tiffany ring??? Those are absolutely my favorite bands of all!

Yes, I scored one like this on eBay last week, 3mm w/milgrain "barely used" and I should receive it tomorrow, someone here early on pointed out the Tiffany two tone bands, being similar to the one I lost, that was an ER, so I'm excited to have found this for about 1/3 the full retail price! I hope that if it needs polishing, Tiffany's will do it? For a charge, even...

Sooo...the Tiffany band came today and it's absolutely gorgeous! But...I don't like it with my set! It just doesn't go. Ugh. I guess I will sell it now, it's in perfect condition, so I am sure I wont' have trouble...but the search continues.
