The wait is over - my Aqua Asscher has landed!

I ordered an Aquamarine Asscher (modified for a Beryl) from the lovely John at GemRite and it arrived this morning! Yay!

The cut is absolutely amazing. To the naked eye it looks incredibly precise and the facets throw off wonderful "sparks" of light. It''s totally eye clean and although I notice some tiny inclusions in this photo, to the naked eye there''s nothing at all. My only mini disappointment is that it''s not quite as bright as I was hoping (I''m very colour sensitive with coloured gemstones) but that''s my fault for getting a colour in my head!

This is the 3rd gemstone I''ve bought from John and each stone has been wonderful. I really can''t praise him highly enough.

It''s 3.64cts and the dimensions are 8.76 x 8.76 x 7.17 (so very deep) and VVS-VS clarity.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. When I said that I wasn''t sure that the Aqua was bright enough, I actually meant blue/green enough! It''s very bright and glittery - don''t know what I was thinking!!!!
