Hm, sorry if I ask obvious questions here, but I'm kind of new to diamonds
and as most of you surely know there is almost all different kind of colors of diamonds
and I was wondering the different values of them.

As I have understood the pink diamonds are the one that is most expensive but I also
would like to know the value of the other colors ?

Like compare the different color diamonds, how much are they worth if you like say you have 1 carat the same "good quality" (with no obvious discolorations or pits) of

1ct. White diamond ? = ____$

1ct. Pink diamond ? = ____$

1ct. Black diamond ? = ____$

1ct. Coffee diamond ? = ____$

1ct. Blue diamond ? = ____$

1ct. Green diamond ? = ____$

1ct. Champagne diamond ? ____$

1ct. Yellow diamond ? ____$

Could you fill in the blanks for me !??? (approximately)

Ok, I can't see the order in which you listed your colors, but I know black should be cheap, champagne and brown, cheaper than the other colors, except black, then would come irradiated diamond with colors like teal, then the yellow, green blue pink purple orange/peach all about equal in expense, and finally red the highest cost.

There is a slight problem with answering the question.

In the first place there are almost no "pure" color diamonds meaning almost every color has a modifier. Yellow is pure but brownish yellow, orangish yellow, greenish yellow are all modifiers and every one of them has an effect on the price. You can also have more than one modifier.

In the second place every color goes from faint, fancy, intense and vivid. There is a HUGE difference in price of a fancy pink or blue to a vivid pink or blue.

Sorry I've been very busy for a while and haven't been able to check in and well,
thanks for the answers even if they where no answers at all really, just excuses.

And not even really correct ones, there was no intention really in the order of the colors that
I put and as I have understood the pure pink ones are the most precious but I could be wrong,
I have never seen a deep red diamond, not even in a picture, didn't even know they existed.

Actually you were given answers. Every diamond is different. You say one carat--well there are clarity grades, cut grades, and color grades to consider. There are ranges and combinations of colors for almost all of the colors you listed. You're not going to get any better answers when you are asking a general question like that.

Just thought you might like a little more info on the rare red diamond.

Red Diamond Information

a .44ct heart shaped red diamond is listed at $149,000. Makes me very happy to like my beautiful G color 2ct, lol.
