A new piece arrived today from Ivy & Rose. I ordered a few weeks ago before the world went totally upside down, when we may have still hoped that all of this was just few weeks inconvenience. In the words of Homer Simpson - D’oh!
That was wrong, but don’t think the ring purchase was. It’s very bold & quite striking.
Ivy & Rose was great. Couldn’t be happier with them.
The sapphires are oh, so blue
I know they are heated, but I prefer heated sapphires. I heated sapphires are like unvarnished wood to me. Nature did a good job, but we can help.
The melee stones are G/F colorless, which I was attracted to as my eternity band stones colorless, both are platinum. I’m vining on them together. The shoulder stones are the same color range. All graded VS.
It’s quite comfortable too. Have had it on for just a few hours but feels like a piece I’ve had for ever.
I liked it for its vauguely Art Deco vibe. Hope it brings a few smiles to faces. I’m calling her The Covid Blues.
