The Show your Paraiba or Copper bearing tourmaline thread

I almost forgot, I have another copper bearing (GIT memo) that’s more of a grape purple. It looks like a sad amethyst, It’s a rare color for tourmaline, but the more gray purple/lavender is the color I believe that is traditionally heated to blue.

Maybe it’s just my taste...those are amazingly beautiful..grey ness and all, still a very beautiful color energy. Wow!

I have another paraiba and I love it with this pink spinel. I want to do a bypass with these two. The colors are much nicer, the data upload killed the color from the original pic.

Thank you, I love them too. I've been toying with setting the bigger pear with the spinel, which is why they are in the same jar. Maybe a pendant...?

I can imagine that easily, or a bypass ring!

I found this on a vendor website. I didn’t want to mention the vendor, but this is a GIA paraiba. I think it has beautiful cutting and polish, and it’s a pretty gem, but it does not have that neon glow. It’s $9k for 6.3 carats. I think it is a bit too gray.

Thank you, the cushion is 10mm, so it would be easy to find a setting for, so maybe one day I’ll change my mind.

But I told him I was messaging with Yvonne to make one and he spilled the beans that he had already done one and it was just completed! Can’t wait to see it in person! The little side stones are color change garnet (his birthstone) to go along with the paraiba which is mine.
