What a beauty!!! Such a gorgeous sea green! Have you already seen it in real life?

I bought the stone loose last year from a trader in Bangkok. It is glowy and probably from Mozambique :)

It's been a couple of months it was sent away to be set!

Waiting to collect this tiny 2ct cuprian pendant next week!

I love the design of that pendant and the color of the stone is beautiful. But 2cts isn't small!

What a stunning and rich looking ring! Looking forward to see your handshots

I live in the UAE. I have a jeweller in dubai who has an absolutely state of the art facility. Their work is always beautifully done. I usually have everything custom made and it’s very inexpensive compared to Europe or the US.

First, I’m jealous! My budget for custom work has gotten a little out of hand lately. Second, It’s absolutely gorgeous and glowy!

If anyone wants to see what an unheated Mozambique copper bearing tourmaline looks like, here you go. This one is six carats, and has its GIT lab memo indicating it’s a copper bearing tourmaline. I’ve had this stone loose in my collection for eons and in the bank. I just took it out to see if I wanted to do something with it, but I think I’ll just keep it loose. It’s not the most beautiful or saturated gem, but it’s a rare color for tourmaline. Just took a recent pic in natural diffused sunlight.

I’ve been a fan of your other paraiba ring for years! This beautiful green one has fantastic color and it’s freaking ginormous!

So my sweet hubby was trying to surprise me by making a paraiba ring for me for our anniversary in June. But I told him I was messaging with Yvonne to make one and he spilled the beans that he had already done one and it was just completed! Can’t wait to see it in person! The little side stones are color change garnet (his birthstone) to go along with the paraiba which is mine.

Does yours color shift? I have two unheated ones. The one that has more violet color shifts from blue to purple. This is it. I don't have a pic on my phone when it's purple. 20190329_174359.jpg

I don’t think so, this is a pic in incandescent light, it just looks grayer, lol!

I love those blues and lavenders! They seem to have such a special restful dreamy quality, while still having a vital life to them. I’ve never seen one in person.

Thank you, I love them too. I've been toying with setting the bigger pear with the spinel, which is why they are in the same jar. Maybe a pendant...?

I almost forgot, I have another copper bearing (GIT memo) that’s more of a grape purple. It looks like a sad amethyst, :eek2: It’s a rare color for tourmaline, but the more gray purple/lavender is the color I believe that is traditionally heated to blue.
