Well even though I take terrible pictures I figured I would post a couple shots. First off, I can't shoot anything with fire or sparkle...I just can't get them to come out right. I think the first shot gives a nice picture of the overall ring but leaves the center stone looking a little dull. The second shot gives some nice arrows. Like I said, this stone really has a lot of life I am just unable to capture it with my point and shoot. Shot three gives another nice view of the center stone. I'd like to thank James Allen for such a wonderful diamond.

Beautiful ring! I think your pics turned out fabulously! It takes a ton of practice to photograph stones so that the fullest extent of their beauty shows up, but you''ve done a great job anyway, your pics are nice and clear! Congrats!

It turned out beautiful, Congrats!

If the weather allows, try taking some pics outside, indoor lights do nothing for diamonds. If you can''t do that, try taking them by a window with diffused light. Also, windowsills are great for arrow shots.

I appreciate all the nice comments, I really do. I also love that nobody has said anything about the toaster oven in the background!! You all are too kind.

I think shot # 3 really shows off your stone. I like your setting too. A very beautiful combo. I did not notice the toaster oven. It''s true, I don''t look at the backgrounds. Just the diamonds. LOL

To answer a couple of questions:

I do not have any hand shots as I have not proposed just yet. That is around a month away.

The center stone did come from James Allen, who I absolutely loved dealing with. Whiteflash is another great vendor who was very helpful in my search. 2 PS vendors fell a little short in the customer service in my opinion, but no names will be mentioned there.

The setting was actually from Hannoush Jewelers. They are a chain mall-type jewelery store who I honestly wouldn''t have looked at, but one of our good friends manages one of their stores. She was able to get me a very good deal and I liked the idea of being able to go to a B&M if I needed anything down the road.

Thanks again for all the nice comments in this thread.
