I am torn.. I'm not sure if its the most beautiful guard I've seen designed yet..or a waste of a big gorgeous solitaire. While I think it's fascinating to look at and a deco dream with, I prefer without. Interesting and classy none the less.

I kinda dig it. May be my generation showing. I think some of us seem to like less dainty on our older hands.

Oh I love it! I think it is very pretty and really cool! These days I find myself liking more hand presence on the finger.

I like it better on the finger than in the first picture being held.

I really like this!

Definitely not my cup of tea. I like it better without.

Like!!!

I saw this and I love how it looks on the top and bottom with the guard but I don't like the triple bands.

Not a fan of this exact one because it changes the l/w proportion but can see liking a similarly bling version.

Ha! I was just looking at this! It’s different and kind of cool

Yep that’s what was bugging me too

I hate it.

Nope. Too much going on.

The wraps remind me of spider legs. Looks like the entire thing would want to crawl off the finger.
Am I the only one that sees this???

I do love the center emerald with baguette sides, but on it's own.

I like it a lot. I'd wear the centre ring daily and the guard for nights out. Love that it's a dinner ring and engagement ring all in one.

I kinda love it!

I adore guard rings, especially since my hands swell badly in summer, and get skinny in winter. The guard ring keeps my solitaires from sliding around, and they look nice too.

When it comes to ECs I like them to be the star and without halos.

I get the tear, most definitely. I think it's the too many tapered baguettes. The fact that it wasn't soldered or part of the solitaire is a positive. But if it was tweaked like the thread suggests it could be very workable.

I like it, but would prefer if the two “sides” were soldered as a “jacket” insert instead of plain bands. That way the solitaire would always be centered in between the “jacket” and all three rings wouldn’t be able to spin any way they want. Really cool!
