The picture of the mint garnet with the handsome prince didn't do the stone justice, so I spent the afternoon playing with my camera. Here we go, my entire collection, starting with a group shot of the garnets.

Mali garnet, 1.92ct

I now have to kick myself in the, excuse me, blank blank, for not getting that mint garnet when I had the chance. You have such a good eye for gemstones Yingh. Your collection is just spectacular. More pics!!

Rhodolite garnet, 2ct. Bottom right is the vendor picture.

Loose Gem Home Pictures5.jpg

Rhodolite garnet, weight unknown, recut from a 5+ct stone.

Loose Gem Home Pictures4-1.jpg

My latest purchase from BB, Umbalite garnet, 3.73ct. Picture cannot do this stone justice.

Loose Gem Home Pictures3-1.jpg

The Prince''s mint garnet, 2.34ct, cut by Gene, it is impossible to get its fire and color on the picture. The garnet group picture was the closest.

Loose Gem Home Pictures2-1.jpg

Tsavorite, 1.26ct, with inclusions, but color is pure green.

Loose Gem Home Pictures16.jpg

Color change garnet, 1.84ct, bottom right is the vendor picture showing the other color. Honestly, I''ve only see that green color once under a strange lighting.

Loose Gem Seller Pictures2.jpg

Spessartite garnet, 7.95ct, it reminds me of the evil eye in LOTR movie.

Loose Gem Home Pictures13.jpg

Madarin spessartite, 5.7ct, concave cut by Richard Holmes, very bright under sun light.

Loose Gem Home Pictures-1.jpg

A pair of orange spess, about 2.6ct in total. One has a much better cut.

Loose Gem Home Pictures1-1.jpg

My other passion is with spinel (basically anything that sparks), here is a group shot.

One more pink spinel (from eBay), 1.54ct, top right corner is the vendor picture.

Loose Gem Seller Pictures1.jpg

An organgy pink spinel, weight unknown. Cut with a huge window, I bought it for its ''pad'' like color.

Loose Gem Home Pictures15.jpg

Rosy red spinel, about 1.9ct, eBay again. Can you tell which is the vendor picture?

Loose Gem Home Pictures14.jpg

Red spinel, weight unknown. Vendor piture bottom right.

Loose Gem Seller Pictures.jpg

Violet spinel, 3.12ct, cut too shallow, but still very sparkly.

Loose Gem Home Pictures18.jpg

Blue spinel, 1.25ct, my camera seems to give more blue than it actually has.

Loose Gem Home Pictures17.jpg

Blue spinel from Dan, 1.34ct. Actually darker than the picture and less blue.

Loose Gem Home Pictures10.jpg

Can forget my 5.67ct sapphire from Thailand, seller claim it is unheated. Independent appraiser said what he saw could indicate no heat or very very low heat. Need to send it to AGTA one day.

My little color changing sapphire, 1.16ct. The one facing down give a hint how the night time purple color looks like. I tried to picture the purple, but as soon as the flash light shins, it turns to be blue. Anyone have tips?

Now the tourmalines.

Green tourmaline, 1.6ct. This beautiful blueish green reminds me of an emerald. One of my favorites.
