Re: The Official TTC Thread!
Katy! Yay yay yay! I always hear people say a line is a line. You better test again tomorrow and report back! I'm cautiously thrilled for you. Maybe LC's eagle pose helped???
LC, sounds like acupuncture is agreeing with you. If nothing else, it is awesome that it helps you relax. I can't wait to find out if it helps you reverse the longer and longer cycle trend. Agreed about springy and summery clothes. Nothing is cuter.
Pancake, it's hard to be patient, but hang in there. I'm sure you will be ovulating in no time.
Blondebunny, sorry about your disappointing ultrasound results. I don't have any experience with PCOS, so I am not much help. Did your doctor say whether she thought clomid would work for your particular problem? I completely get not wanting to seek unnecessary medical intervention if you don't have to, but f I were you, I would be tempted to at least look into the option. Hopefully someone on here can give you some advice.
Lizzy, any more symptoms? Crossing my fingers for a sticky one!
NEL, I definitely go from being patient to impatient. I have had a string of pregnancy and birth announcements from friends and families (two of them are having twins and one friend from HS just had identical boy triplets), and while I am very happy for each of them, it makes me really sad that I'm not pregnant yet. And the there are moments when I am okay with it and don't feel panicky about it at all. It's going to happen soon. You technically haven't even had one cycle of all out trying yet!
AFM, I can cross one thing off my list. My ovarian reserve test came back with only a shadow of a second line, which for once is a good result
I'm 30, so I didn't think ovarian reserve would be a problem yet, but I'll take whatever positive news I can get.
Question for all of you, have you noticed that AF is shorter since coming off BC? I remember before going on BC, I would have AF for about 5 days. On BC, it was usually about 2-3 days. Since going off BC, it is only about 2 (maybe 3 days). Other than that, I seem to be back to my pre-BC self.
