DH and I cheated! Because of the situation at our apartment we decided to open up the gifts to each other early and leave the parent''s gifts for tomorrow when we go to their place. I got a titanium band (to match his wedding band - my actual wedding band is platinum) and I also received a sub-laptop!! I love it - this tiny thing runs faster than my desktop and perfect for my trip in two days. Now I can PS on vacation

Yay for marrying a computer geek!

How did everyone else make out?

DH got me a gorgeous strand of Akoya pearls, a few small things I''d been wanting and a new channel set diamond band that I won''t actually receive til Friday.

well...I only got to open one gift tonight.....I go the Nikon D40 DSLR Camera!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! Of course I will take some shots of my stuff when I get to it. YAY!!!!!!

I''ll play. It''s only Christmas eve here so I only got to open one small present. It''s an offshoot of the game cranium. They came up with a game of just sculpturades. My favorite!

I got a lot of books and movies and lotion stuff... But my favorite is my new necklace!! It''s a .25ct, J VS1 solitaire in a white gold setting. It''s so gorgeous and sparkly!!! I LOVE IT!!! And I love my hubby.

We opened gifts with my in-laws yesterday and with each other last night. MIL got us a cappuccino maker that goes on your stove... VERY cute and DH and I actually saw a similar (or maybe the same!) one in a catalog recently and thought it looked like a good idea. She also got me 2 tops. I was pretty impressed that she got pretty close to my size and in a style I would wear. They aren''t something I would have purchased for myself (I''m picky when I''m spending my own money!) but I do think I''ll wear them.

One of his sisters gave us a loaf of homemade banana bread so we enjoyed some of that last night.

DH gave me the bezel studs I''ve posted pics of before and also a green enameled teakettle that I love

. I also got a few stocking suffers.

He was SO excited when I brought his gift into the living room... I thought he was going to cry. It was a new golf bag, accessories, and clubs. I went against what alot of people recommended and went ahead and ordered him the clubs. They were custom made to fit him and he couldn''t be happier with the size, swing, or the feel. I also got him a putting cup so he can practice in the living room

Everyone got great gifts!

FI and I purchased a flat screen for each other after Thanksgiving so there was that gift.
My brothers got me a DVD set of all my favorite Christmas cartoons, a body pillow, and a gift card to buy some maternity clothes.
My mom got me a bunch of maternity shirts, some really cute pjs, and some much needed new undies

. She also gave me a WG garnet ring and matching earrings.
My in-laws got me a new camcorder

So not expecting that but its mostly a gift for them so that I can record every second of the pregnancy and the baby

Don''t tell anyone though but my most favorite of them all is my DVD. I''ve already watched 4 of the cartoons. LOL

What wonderful gifts everyone got! I got a sweater and perfume from my kids plus the Wall-E DVD I wanted. Hubby spoiled me terribly and got me a gorgeous FY and white diamond bracelet and the matching pendant. Sorry no pics yet. I''m still working on them!

I got my something blue Manolos, cookery things, underwear and another few items from my parents.
D and I got each other the nintendo wii and wii fit and his sister got us lots of games and remotes for it.
His parent''s got us a dining room table and chairs and they got us lots of smellies each.
My sisters got me mamma mia on dvd, perfume, slippers and a big pink pig piggybank.
I love everything that I got. People were way too generous!

She really is a sweet little thing. Very cute. I was very surprised, he''s such a sweetheart of a guy!

No bling but a gift card to AVENUE, a gift card to Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory, A promise of a homemade dinner (that should be interesting) and a surprise in 7-10 days!

I love hearing about everybody''s gifts.

I got some lovely yummy bath stuff from Sephora - Philosophy''s holiday cookbook bath gels set, and a couple of things from the new Dylan''s Candy Bar line (YUM

).

Also got my first real grownup hair dryer (T3 featherweight) and it works like a dream

and DH got creative and got me the matching travel once, since I''ll be traveling a lot for my new job starting next Fall. I also got two new Jo Malone colognes (Orange Blossom and French Lime Blossom), and my mom got me a bunch of nice sweaters and some lovely business clothes that I can use when I start working next year.

No sparklies yet, but my job pressie to me should be on its way after the New Year

We also did experience gifts this year - nights out at the ballet for both us and my mom, and also for just the two of us, and a fancy NYE out with friends to look forward to.

I feel very blessed and spoiled this holiday season, and can''t wait to spread the cheer by going and helping to adopt out kittens and puppies with the local shelter this weekend and next week

I''ll play I am so lucky that my family really spoilt me.
From DH: Perfume (flower bomb) Ray Ban Aviators and a stunning round Elsa Peretti Pendant which was a BIG surprise but best of all A VEGTABLE Patch

. Our gardener designed planter boxes is a courtyard that we really never ued and has a rain water tanks so I can water my plants in the rain. Xmas morning he took me outside and he had planted carrots and cans of tomatoes and A bottle of wine so funny.
My gorgeous son gave me a goat! Yes that right a goat. But not for us but for my sponsor child village in Tanzania. He is such a thoughtful boy and am so proud of him.
He also gave me some stunning Reidel O series wine glasses that the base is coloured pink and they are for Breast Cancer awareness. He really put a lot of effort into getting me things that matter to me!
DD gave me a gorgeous turquoise bracelet with religious medals on it. So cute
I was spoilt.

From DH, pearl earrings, and a book. One of my presents is still back in England and I''ve been told I get that one on NYE.

From parents, a bracelet, a calendar, a travel game for DH and I to play on the airplane, a piece of pottery, a shirt, and an oven mit.

From sister, a CD.

We''ve only visited with a few relatives so far and my kids have gotten TONS of stuff. It''s out of control more than any other year. . .and we were trying to cut back too!

I got: Philosophy 3-in-1s in the scents of Carmel Apple and Carrot Cake, L''Occitane hand lotion, 4 Yankee Candles (yummy!), a pair of REI fleece pants and pull-over, and last but not least, a cute little VS item

We''re halfway done with Christmas presents.

My sister is in town Saturday, so we''re done with the in-laws and get to do it all over again Sat! Yay!

So far I am the happy recipient of lots of yummy smelling bath stuff, cozy socks (I have perpetually cold feet) and other odds and ends.

The in-laws got us a GPS!!!! We were so excited! I also got a great jewelry box so I can relocate my jewelry into a nice home!

I got a HUUUUGE boxed set of Tresor, my all-time favorite perfume, a year''s worth of full-service car wash coupons, and a 8 Gig blue Zune...

The matching pearl and diamond pendant/earring charms were a combination effort for B-day/Christmas, he got me the pearls, and I had the diamonds, and the vision, so I had them made up. Yummy.

Oh, and the DH''s dad gave us MONEY baybee!!

I also got a gorgeous handmade wooden jewellery box, which I'm super in love with.
Fi's family gave us a tonne of thoughtful and useful stuff - his mum's "theme" was practical gifts this year, so cute. As we are both back at Uni, we got heaps of storage and organizational stuff from Ikea, USB thumb drives, calendars and diaries - its great, as its all the stuff you never like to buy for yourself !

FI got me amazing gifts, but my favorite one - and the one that impressed me the most is....

He has amazing taste! What a surprise... A man who buys me shoes. As if I needed another reason to love him.

ETA: I am SO impressed to see other FIs and hubbies bought their lucky ladies fab shoes! Way to go, evolved men!

I got the Canon Rebel xsi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I wanted it so bad for christmas, and I didn''t expect it this year because my parents just got divorced and neither of them have a lot of money. SO one of the boxes looked like it might be it, but I didn''t get my hopes up and I kept telling myself, it''s probably the books you want, it''s probably the books you want. Then I opened it and it was a shoebox and inside it was the rebel boxx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started crying and I am normally not emotional but I wa sooooooo happy!!! That was definitely the best present, but other than that I got some board games like catch phrase, scrabble, spartanopoloy (monopoly spartan style) and a calender and movies. Mamma Mia! Whoo hoooooooo this was a really good christmas!
