i asolutely ADORE this ring! good for you! i''m your average lurker who barely posts but decided i have to give you my input. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! enjoy
geckodani--Thanks a bunch. I love trillions and baguettes and was really happy when I found something that combined the two!
anitabee-- Thank you! It means a lot to me that you came out of lurkdom for my ring. My ring appreciates it too!
iluvcarats-- I was thinking the same thing! But what name would I choose? It took me months to find a setting, finding a new username could take years!
Deelight-- Did you say final upgrade? Just kidding, yes it is my final upgrade, at least for my left hand! Thanks for your kind words.
Gyspsy-- Thanks, I was kinda going for serious diamond real estate! It does represent 16 years of marriage including one kid and a college degree. I doubt I would have ever chosen anything like that years ago.
Lorelei-- Thank you. I value your opinion as a resident bling expert!
Thank you, K! The detail in the rings really amaze me. It is one thing to see them so huge on the computer screen but then to see them in real life is a whole different ball game. I guess the people that make them have to work with magnifying lenses all day. It would drive me crazy!
SparkleNut-- Thank you! I cropped out my fingernails because I needed a manicure something terrible! Hopefully in the next photos, I can plan a little better.
Skippy-- Thanks, but I still need to work on my technique!
C-tek, this upgrade was for my 15th anniversary and for graduating from college. I decided it was time. I am nearing my 17th anniversary and let's just say that the finished ring you see here was arrived at by a very circuitous, almost 2-year route, which included buying an emerald cut diamond and selling it when I saw the Jubilee. Then I spent months trying to find the right setting. I looked all over creation, then walked into Collections Fine Jewelry, and there was the set! I won't ever do this again for sure! Too much time and energy! But now you know how I got my name!
MMT--thank you so much!
Burk, thank you. The photos might be a while. I haven't figured out how to do the extreme close-up thing!
