Okay, so I''m trying to get creative with an appetizer, and I don''t know if I''m going too far.

My logic here is, miso + ginger are friends, right?

Concept: miso-seared scallops, on savory gingerbread, with grapefruit and something green (have not picked the green thing yet, but it seems like something green belongs on there).

Is the gingerbread awesome, or weird? I''ve already made a big sheet of gingerbread, and I''m going to do a practice run with the scallops now, but I''m totally second-guessing my creative choices here.

Frederick's. They usually have something like that; my old roomie got a corset there for last year's Halloween costume, and it didn't have the clippies (she was pairing it with a skirt but no hose, and didn't need them).

This is probably nothing like what you're looking for, but I don't see any of the clips in the photo.

MK - I think you''re just going to have to try it. Sometimes those experiments turn out fabulous. I mean if I saw that I would absolutely try it but I''m a foody. I was thinking cilantro for your something green but maybe too overpowering...I''m going to continue to ponder...

I was just at the maidenform outlet (seattle premium outlet up north) and it seemed like they had a lot of bustier type stuff...

I don''t know how arugula would go with this.

Scallions would be good though.

i''ve missed you ladies! work as got me busy, and not to mention that our internet is hooked up to the playstation right now.

but, i am subbing today at our old, quiet, no customers location so all the PS i want!! WOOT!!

anyways, arugila, i am pretty sure, is the yucky salad i don''t like. but then again i pretty much only like spinach and... ICEBERG. yep. i said it!!

how is everyone doing? tonight we''re carving pumpkins. i am so excited!!

IT IS spicy lettuce!! i dont know. it just tastes....wrong. like a penny. but Fi loves it. so he tries to sneak it in.

lucky for you to go home early! only 2 hours left here! kinda nice to end my day with PS instead of giving tours all day long
