Lol. But I still can''t believe how long it is. I think I was #118 when I started (December 2007), and after New Years I was 90 something. And now, almost 1 year later I''m #20. Crazy!

I think i was 130something back in june.. now down to the 50''s! I think i will be the 2009 before july. well, that is if E wants to keep his nose attached to his face

Just curious - do you ladies tell your gents what rings you want?

My bf and I have been talking marriage and our goals in life pretty much from the get-go. We''ve been dating for 10 months. I would say around the 8 month mark I actually SHOWED him what I wanted (at that time) and have since shown him many, many more that are gorgeous. He''s told me he likes the "Tiffany" setting the best. It is mighty gorgeous!

Now we''re discussing size of the ring... I feel like a gold-digger. LOL

Hah! I picked out both of the stones (they are spinel, not diamond--and only one will be used) AND he has a sheet of paper that has pretty much exactly what I want on it. Pictures and details. So yes, he has been told what I want. Lol.

We went to an independent jeweler, Tiffany, and Cartier and tried on pretty much everything Tiff/Cartier had and just looked at loose stones at the independent jeweler. He had a pretty clear idea about what I was hoping for and did very well! I felt like after looking at a few settings on my hand in person and being able to tell him what I like and what I don''t like he had enough information.
