checking in because I think I haven''t posted in about 3 months...

I can''t believe how far I''ve moved up the list since I joined back in November at number 98. 56 now!!

Things with the boyfriend seem to be sloooowly progressing. Our 2 year anniversary is coming up in May, and I think the plan is basically by the summer... But, he apparently has a major fear of talking to his mother about us getting engaged, yet he feels it''s necessary before we can... We''ve looked at rings a few times and I think I''ve narrowed things down quite a bit. If he realizes his mother isn''t actually scary and has that chat with her and she doesn''t flip out (he claims she really likes me, I''m not sure why he doesn''t just expect her to be happy for us!), I think we''ll be asking MaeVona to send a couple settings for us to take a look at to a local jewelry store.

hi all, sorry i disappeared for so long. SO was having some problems (couldn''t find a job, he was super stressed and i guess i was pressuring him too much and he freaked out) so i had to seriously back off and let him come to his senses. it''s okay, i know i was removed from the list, i just didn''t want to go anywhere near wedding/engagement websites, much less a diamond forum.

but all is good now, he''s gotten a job, moved, and we have been back to normal for about 5 months now and we''re actually starting to make wedding plans (our venue is getting booked up FAST for the weekend we want in fall 2011) so now, i really am just waiting for the ring. i am hoping it will be within the next 6 months.

We will make our 2 year anniversary tomorrow and are taking a 4 day trip later this week where i am HOPING HOPING HOPING that there will be a proposal.

I will admit we have been talking about marriage for a while and I immediately flew off the deep end. . .spending hours at the bookstore looking at wedding books. . going online and we went to look at rings a little over a YEAR AGO!! I am concerned he might not remember exactly what I want. . ..=( I am nervous. . and really hoping that I am able to relax and enjoy this trip EVEN if he doesn''t propose.

I''ll come running and crying to you guys.

This past christmas 6 couples we know got engaged and he asked if it bothered me. . .truth be told i was really hurt and i did cry about it. . .and he said that we were not ready yet and our time was coming. . .not to be upset about someone elses blessing because I have my own. . .I have tried my best to be patient. . but . . .2 years feels like a long long time to me. . . .
