How on earth did you manage to give them a bath? I can''t imagine giving our bengals a bath. They would have no part of that! (although our savannah has no problem jumping in the water).

I''m so glad. I know I checked your thread about Brutus every day to see what happened. SO glad he''s found a great home (and away from those horrible former owners of his). I wish my boys would shower with us! They only stick their heads in, and a couple times have gotten into the tub, but as soon as the spray hits them, out they go like a shot! I think you did a wonderful thing for Brutus - I''m sure he''ll want to say thanks if you decide to go see him! Any progress on finding a forever home, so you can get a couple Bengal babies yourself?

We hope to get a couple of bengals for ourselves one day.. hubby loved Brutus.. but we aren''t in our forever home and it would be unfair to bring them into this house knowing that we wont be here for them to grow up. I am really hoping that our next home will be ''it'' until we retire. Camille is now 10.. she has several years left and is a happy girl.. she and Bailey dont see eye to eye.. but Bailey is just a year and a half old. I wish they were closer in age and liked eachother! lol Someday someday.. we''re probably not going to move for a good year or so, but we are definitely planning!!

Hooray! I hope it happens soon! And maybe Bailey will be happier with some kitten friends to keep up with. Definitely lots and lots of energy with my two!

Haha they are definitely intrepid. Kipling loves going from his cat tree to the top of the dining room chairs - though as you can see from one of the pics, he doesn't keep his balance 100% of the time

Nope, they don''t like baths at all! Actually, they''re really curious about water - they''ve hopped into the tub when while I was showering several times, though they hop back out pretty quickly once they start getting wet. I hope they like water more as they grow up. As far as being vocal, Dante is SUPER loud. Esp. when I''m in the kitchen and he wants food. And Kipling makes weird little chirps when playing and while on the toilet, lol. But they haven''t started "chattering" to us yet.

And thank GOODNESS they can''t jump to the top ledge of the door yet! That would mean they would be able to jump onto the kitchen counters too - the horror!

Double trouble yes! Thanks so much for looking - I love posting pics of the babies, hehe.

Ugh, the bath! They weren't happy. Amazingly I got through it (by myself!) with no scratches. But after cleaning their litter box and disinfecting it, cleaning and disinfecting the bathroom, and then the bath...I was pooped. Basically, I started running the tub faucet with warm water, shut one out of the bathroom, took the other one in both hands and stuck him (body, not head) under the water until he was wet. He immediately started struggling, squirming, kicking and yowling. I put him on the toilet lid and grabbed the shampoo, rubbed it on his, and when I got him shampooed up, stuck him back under the faucet until he was clean (which was WAY harder - slippery kitten!). I put him down afterwards and opened the door and he just zoomed out. Then repeat with 2nd kitten. I should take a video next time I have to do this - it's pretty funny

Hahaha. I was pretty out of it (that was the night of the Great Litter Cleaning and Bath), and I was running on about 2 hours of sleep. I passed out, but I remember coming to every once in a while and thinking I felt really warm. Well duh - kitten body heat! lol. BF was SO nice and took pics....
