The "hearts" in my diamond seems to have very thin or no gap with the V-shape, is that something I should be concerned about?

I only have picture taken from a phone. Apologize for its low quality.

I am not too concerned about what it looks like, but more about whether this will negatively affect its light performance?

Do you have other pictures or video of the diamond?

Hello, jumphigher!
Do you have the proportions and angles or mine sharing the grading report number so that we can look and offer better advice?

Thank you! Yes, I have a video and report.

I don't have trained eyes that's why I am seeking advice here LOL

It's what many of us PS'ers would consider a little out of bounds for proportions and angles that fall within true ideal/super ideal cut, but the fiery 40.6/36.0/58 combo can work just fine, especially with those longer lowers.
Anything seem off to you, or does it have tons of sparkle and scintillation?

Yeah how perfect are you looking for? I am seeing some signs of deviations from the really perfect proportions many around here might like, with some leakage between the base of the arrows and paddling at the ends. You can see it in the scope and video. It means the stone will look darker than it might otherwise look when obstructed. The question is whether this matters to you. It will have a small impact on optics.

Thank you both! That's reassuring. Just want to make sure nothing very off. Maybe in the future I can upgrade to a true perfect one but sounds like the differences may not be that noticeable in normal environments to untrained eyes? :mrgreen2::mrgreen2:

Does 17K sound like a fair price for this stone?

1.50 D VS1 GIA Excellent with decent proportions and angles...yes, that's a fair price in my opinion.

It's better cut than the vast majority of diamonds out there. To a casual diamond owner/buyer it is unlikely they would notice the difference unless the held this diamond next to a supe-ideal spec diamond. Can we see pictures of the diamond or ring? You have to pay the trolls under the bridge for our help.

Don't have a real life photo unfortunately

PLease come back to share when you do have your own pictures!
