Wedding the good, the bad, and the oooogly...

well, i picked up my wedding dress today, YAAAAY, so that''s good. on a bad note, still having issues with my venue; i''ve asked if we could schedule an appointment to discuss the contract because she is claiming that we must''ve misunderstood on a few points. um, hello? our deciding vote for this venue was specifically their rules and regulations on the bar! GGRRR. oh, and i also found out today that their version of beer at a bar is beer pumped from a keg and into plastic cups. the contract says CHINA, CRYSTAL, CHARGERS (no plastic!), yet our wedding is going to be frat-tastic. thrilling. as for the ugly...i now have an obsession. i just woke up out of a dead sleep at 1 am to come downstairs and try on my wedding dress again while the FI''s snoring away. worst part is, now i can''t get back to sleep, and we have his little boy for spring break, so the kiddo''s going to wake me up at like 7 am, and i''m going to have dress hangover!

you HAVE seen the dress, silly! in the original thread, i was trying to figure out shoes so that the dress wouldn''t be too long. i think i finally decided on getting these, if they''ll be high enough. hmm...

i need to get the darned thing altered! i have an enormous butt, so in order to dress the largest part of me, the top part of the dress is large enough to stick a 5 pound bag of potatoes in it...not that doing so would be the most logical thing in the world, but ya know...why not?

okay, so s<3js is a ditz and i''m a dork; anyone else up for some name calling? haha! hey gwyn, i haven''t actually purchased the shoes yet--are they easy to walk in? i''m a TOTAL heel spaz, but the db website''s reviews said they were pretty comfy; i am more likely to trust a fellow pser, though!

i wore them for about an hour in the store while my BM was trying on dresses. They are comfy. I think they were $50 at david''s with $3 to die them whatever color you chose
