Thank you! I actually love lurking over there I've read every single tutorial on the site when I started trying out knotting. I just can't seem to manage the knotting properly for some reason. It always ends up too tight or too loose and the knots look massive. I should really start trying again though. I have some really pretty burgundy thread and teal thread I bought awhile back to use

I'm still wearing mine! I have those cultured dyed black pearls that I bought awhile back and started trying to teach myself to string with since I don't deserve, nor can afford the nice tahitians lol. Sadly the stringing is still not good lol. But the wire wrapped tin cup style pearl I've improved a little bit on the wrapping. But Ive been lazy and not been practicing lately. Just been wearing my little home made tin cup as it is and my mom's little pearl cage with a black pearl in it. I keep meaning to take pictures but I keep forgetting.

Indeed! Have a trash photo of the pearl cage and part of the tin cup lol. I'm terrible at photos and was trying to to figure out how to arrange them in a less awful way when my husband came up so I had to stop trying, play innocent, and put everything back lol

I bought a summer necklace of faux pearls and Swarovski crystals at a farmer's market one summer. It's nice and I don't have to worry about sunblock ruining it:

Haha yes. He knows I take terrible pictures of my jewellery but I don't want him to actually SEE me do it and judge me xD

you know back in the day before didigital cameras and cell phones, my very basic manolta never took a bad photo, i remember dad saying you only need to take one photo becuase they all turn out great -and it was true, not just that you had to pay for developing, it was a great little point and shoot camera

despite being on ban island i brought these to make my friend's necklace
they are such good value, i have now brought 3 lots

im holding out on the central element because i really love the enameled pink cherry blossom connector branch

ordered Wendy's W charm for her necklace
desided to get it from the UK as shipping cheaper and this vendor had better reviews



the plan is for it to just hang of the central element

and the Wen pearls have departed the port o departure !

am buying the clasp for Wendy's pearls now
she is such a fun lady i thought this would be a cool choice
all the other claps i liked were all from the US or Canada and had too high a shipping cost
maybe i should have had a thread just for this necklace but the pearls are so cheap i was too embaressed


now i just have to wait for the central element to come back in stock

im so happy, the W for Wendy charm has arrived via royal mail/NZ post non tracking
its dainty but i think it will be perfect to hang off whatever central element i choose, my wen pearls also arrived so im just waiting on the clasp and then to choose the central element
