Just got engaged and want to share my "fire" too!

Just got a new ring this week, and here are some fire shots from it's first "modelling session"! The other fire shot, was taken one very boring day at work and the sun was coming up thru the window... and out came my iPhone for a photo shoot at my cubicle!! (pre new ring - the diamond band I'm wearing was my grandmother's wedding band)

Neat pics btw...

I love this thread! There are some amazing shots of fire here. I especially love the ones by Christina and Jeweln who captured the entire prism of colors. I was trying to get a pic of the strong blue fluor in my pear and got some fire shots along the way, so I thought I'd join in the fun and keep this going! :sun:

Hello I'm new to Pricescope and newly-engaged. You ladies really have beautiful rings with amazing fire! My engagement ring is a heart-shaped diamond solitaire that I love to bits. Although most people consider heart-shaped stones tacky :P , I'd like to post anyway if that's ok :)

Although I wouldn't have considered a heart-shaped diamond for my engagement ring, I definitely would not call it "tacky". In fact, I am a fan of heart-shaped jewelry. I have earrings, pendants and even a right-hand ring that are all heart-shaped.
So for the inconsiderate folks who would say such a thing ("heart-shaped stones are tacky").....SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on them!
I don't know a lot about the cut of a heart-shaped diamond, but from the pics you've posted of yours, that baby sparkles like crazy!! The fire shots are incredible!
I actually love your rendition of an e-ring using a heart-shaped diamond Sparkle_ruckle. The setting that you've selected with the heart-shaped center are far from tacky! Add to this the fact that it makes YOUR heart sing; it represents the love shared between you and your new FI....yep, all of this definitely make the ring all the more beautiful and special.
Again, I say...CONGRATULATIONS!! I can't wait to see the band that you select to go with it.

Oooh finally I can play!

What a gorgeous ring!!! I love heart shaped stones but you can't even see the beautiful curvy shape on this ring because of all that fire!

:appl: Fire pics are my all time favorites!!! It's fun to check in and see the new rings that are added every day. Everyone has such AMAZING sparkle!

Of course it's ok!

Your ring is just beautiful. I have always had a soft spot for hearts, and bows. ::) Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder, so it really matters not what anyone else thinks. ;))

It really is a fiery thing, and I love that last pic you posted, as you caught some fire and yet we get to see the outline of the stone also. And, I really like the contrast of the rock and the diamond. Great pic! Thank you for sharing, and congratulations. :appl:

And thank you to pixgirl, lknvrb4, and Eilonwy for the beautiful pics, and rings!!
