Hello,

After searching for awhile i think ive narrowed it down between these 3. If you wouldnt mind ranking them to help me make the best choice and get the best diamond for my price range it would be greatly appreciated! im willing to have any criticism on the diamonds
thanks,

I look forward to any feedback you are able to provide.

Hi Steve

I like the first two best, if you can''t decide ask Jon at GOG to discuss each with you and if his time permits, he might be able to do a comparison video for you.

Thanks i will give it a shot and see if they cant do a video for me.

just for my education, why is #1 the most desirable... is it due to the ideal depth % or was there other factors?

I like the H VS2, it is a higher color than the I for less money, and the patterning is more appealing. The arrows are fatter than I like on number 3, though some like that and it can create a different look optically. I''d like to see a video too, please post a link if he makes one for you!

Hello,
Definately the last one is the best pick, in a nutshell the polish and symmetry being an excellent grade vs. the ideal on the other two will make the diamond sparkle more even when it is dirty. Remember, you can sacrafice the color rating a little if the cut is great. (Not that this is the case considering the last one has the best color rating also - the closest that you have listed to a colorless rating)
Another aspect of the excellent rating vs the ideal on the other is that the rating is from GIA which whos standards arent as critical as the AGS standards. If you are concerned about the "true quality and cut", the last one is the only one that you have listed that could be "ideal" cut by any gemological labs standards.

Hope this helps, Good Luck!

This is misinformed, So Excited.

1. You are correct in that you can generally sacrifice on colour if cut is excellent, given your personal tolerance for any given amount of tint, and in that a well-cut stone will sparkle more than a poorly cut one.
2. AGS ID and GIA Ex are the best grades assigned, respectively.
3. The cut on any of these three will rate ideal no matter which lab they're sent to - the numbers are impeccable, and the images prove actual performance.

I personally prefer the H VS2 too - nice safe colour, and you're not overpaying for clarity you won't see.

Ditto! I like the first two as well!

Hi,

I personally am not a fan of the fat arrows in stone 3 (short lower girdle facets). The stone could look dark inside because of this in certain lighting.

I like the first two.
